Award Winners and Runner-sap of the main 3 Awards (AWE Award, Company Award, Organisation/community service Award) will present themselves with a small speech of 3-5 minutes thereafter event attendees will vote for a winner in each category.

AWE (African Women in Europe) is an internet platform that enables African Women to share their experiences and knowledge with other African Women residing in Europe. AWE believes in empowering African women to bring a positive change in themselves and in their surroundings!
AWE organizes an annual event in different cities within Europe where women meet to network, motivate and interact with one another. This year is no different. We have organized amazing activities during this year’s long weekend in Berlin:
- A professionally organized business workshop facilitated by SACOMA Form UK to help entrepreneurs explore a collection of business growth strategies that work for them: from franchising, HR development, through to the nurturing of idea creation within the company and innovation as the core element in creating new versions of growth.
- A delicious German Buffet followed by a speech from Virginia Wangare-Greiner the founder of Maisha Organization in Germany.
- An Award Ceremony to recognize highly achieving African ladies in Europe voted by you.
- A raffle with a flight ticket to Africa to be won
This is also a chance to visit Berlin for women attending. We do welcome family members to accompany the attendees.

AWE (African Women in Europe) ist eine Internet Plattform für Frauen afrikanischer Herkunft, die in Europa leben. Die Frauen motivieren einander um sich und ihr Umfeld zu verbessern.
Jedes Jahr veranstaltet AWE ein Wochenendtreff für seine Mitglieder in verschiedenen europäischen Städten. Dieses Jahr findet er in Berlin statt. Viele Aktivitäten sind geplant:
- SACOMA Form UK organisiert einen Workshop für kleine und mittlere Unternehmen Existenzgründer. Hier werden Strategien zur Ausweitung des betrieblichen Wachstums vorgestellt und die von neuen Geschäftsideen über Mitarbeitermotivation bis hin zu Möglichkeiten des Franchisung reichen. Der Workshop bietet reichlich Gelegenheit für Erfahrungsaustausch der Teilnehmerinnen.
- Ein reichhaltiges deutsches Buffet mit anschließender Rede von Virginia Wangare Greiner. Die Gründerin von Maisha e.V in Deutschland.
- Eine Preisverleihung für besonders erfolgreiche afrikanische Frauen in Europa nach dem Abstimmungsergebnis der Teilnehmer.
- Ein Gewinnspiel mit zahlreichen Gewinnen. Erster Preis ist ein Flugticket nach Africa.
Der Treff ist auch eine Gelegenheit Berlin zu besuchen. Familiäre Begleitpersonen sind herzlich willkommen.
